Benefits and Applications
Assessment is a natural complement to many types of one-on-one or small group coaching.  Coaches certified by Group Harmonics to use our validated assessment tools in their own practice are able to offer the following valuable insights and services to their own clients:

Certification Overview
Certifying coaches receive a self-paced audio training program along with supporting text and reference information.  Coaches also receive three hours of one-on-one instruction by telephone from a Group Harmonics certified expert.  Upon successful completion of the training they are certified at the Group Harmonics Certified Baseline Analyst.  This means they are able to use the behavioral and motivational assessment tools as a part of their coaching practice. 

To help jump-start that process, the certification package includes two additional "behavior+motivation" assessments, free of charge, for coaches to use with their clients.  Thereafter coaches may purchase assessments at a discounted rate via an automated, web-based interface, and resell them as part of their own service.  Through the web interface, certified coaches have the capability to “tag” the assessment reports they give to clients with their own contact information.  Billing for discounted assessments is handled monthly using a credit card on file, and is for actual usage only.

Certification Package and Investment
The Certified Baseline Analyst Package includes

  • Personal behavioral and motivational assessment for the coach, for review and debrief during the session ($185 value)

Investment Recovery
The majority of your investment in the certification training is recovered with only two of your clients!  With a retail price of $185, each of the two assessment suites that come with the certification package can be used with an existing client, along with at least three hours of coaching to review the results and integrate them with the client's planned outcomes.  For a coach with a standard hourly value of $100, this returns

Assessment Revenue:                2 x $185              =$370
Time Revenue:                       2 x 3 x $100            =$600
Total Revenue:                                                =$970

In other words, the entire package really costs only $355,
which you will quickly recover with just one more client!

Certification Renewals
A Group Harmonics Behavioral Coach Certification or Behavioral Instructor Certification is valid for 2 years and renewable annually thereafter.  Renewal requires only that the individual’s account remain active, and that the Coach submit direct feedback from a minimal number of clients regarding the Coach’s use of the behavioral model.  Group Harmonics provides feedback submission instructions and process for Coaches to use with clients for this purpose.  (The feedback form is simple and brief, requiring no more than 5 minutes for completion.)   As an alternative, Coaches may also attend a brief Certification Refresher Training to renew their certification.  This training may be conducted live or via teleconference. 

Group Harmonics Instructor Certification: The Next Level
After successfully using the tools, Coaches who are interested in using the interpretation and processing tools at a higher level of certification may go on to become Group Harmonics Certified Behavioral and/or Motivational Instructors.  This certification includes the ability to deliver 2 and 4 hour assessment-based seminars, in order to use the assessment models effectively with larger groups and teams.  Instructor certification includes access to presentation materials and supporting documents. 

Instructor Certification requires that the Coach submit direct feedback from a minimum of three clients regarding the Coach’s use of the assessments.  Group Harmonics will provide feedback submission instructions and process for Coaches to use with clients for this purpose. 

The introductory investment for Instructor Certification completed in this manner is deeply discounted, in order to encourage Coaches to build this type of deep and permanent understanding of the tool and its use.
